myGeek Changes Name to AdOn Network

Continued growth and evolution of business prompt name change

PHOENIX - August 15, 2006 - myGeek, one of the largest keyword-targeted advertising networks, today announced that it will be changing the company name to AdOn Network. The company has also launched a new Website (www.AdOnNetwork.com) as part of its re-branding efforts.

The decision to say goodbye to all that is Geek was difficult but necessary as the company has changed significantly since its inception in 1999. As the company's business evolved and grew from an online geek-assisted shopping service into a premier online advertising network, it became clear that the Geek had to go.

"When the company opened its doors in 1999, the myGeek name served as a great platform to offer an online shopping exchange service for customers and merchants who were, at the time, still somewhat new to the world of ecommerce," said Chad Little, CEO of myGeek. "As our business model changed over the next several years, we were able to leverage our core technology and evolved into an ad network."

In 2004, myGeek named its ad management platform AdOn Network. As AdOn Network grew, and the company's advertisers and partners became familiar with the name and the service, the decision was made to unify the company name with its primary service line.

"We initially kept the myGeek name because it had some brand equity in the industry. However, as we continued to grow and work towards increasing awareness of our ad network, we decided that the myGeek name had outlasted its effectiveness after we had answered the question, 'Don't you guys fix computers?' one too many times."

So it is with fond memories that the company bids farewell to their Geek roots and moves forward as AdOn Network, one of the largest keyword-targeted ad networks online with over 5.5 billion searches and 155 million unique users per month, providing innovative advertising solutions for advertisers and publishers.

AdOn Network continues to offer Search Listing (cost-per-click) and Pop-Under advertising along with the newly released Text Ad format. Text Ads offer the advantages of both CPC and CPM advertising. AdOn Network Text Ads are keyword-targeted text-based advertising that can be displayed in a variety of locations and formats, such as a banner ad space on a publisher's website. Text ads are sold on a CPM basis with bids starting at $.0008 per impression.
